so i've finally made the skirt i conceived last month [link] - done in 2 shades of pink in the end (i seem to be going thru a bit of a pink phase).
it's pretty much how i imagined it would be - the inserts make it a circle skirt only up to the thigh. kinda fiddly: 8 tapered rectangles, with 8 * eighth-circles (all bias cut) i enjoyed making it though  |
